This story just keeps getting dumber.The necklace she 'stole' is the thin shorter one in this picture...
I don't even know how to recap this so many dumb things have gone on this week..
Apparently there is video surveillance footage of Lindsay leaving the store with the necklace. The store claimed they called her to get it back, but Lindsay's team tried to turn it around by asking why the store didn't go to her house to try and get it.
I think that's a really weak defense. I mean, what store is going to GO to someone's house to get something they stole?
Ok, so then Lindsay's team claimed that the store lent her the necklace and the police were initially inclined to believe her because the footage doesn't have audio, so there was no way of proving that didn't happen.
Except that there is. The store came back and pulled out some gigantic document that they normally use when they lend items out, it includes a deposit, credit card #, etc. Lindsay wasn't seen filling that out at any point.
Then her people challenged that she never would have worn the necklace after the fact (pictured) if she had stolen it, because that's too dumb. Is it? Think of who we're talking about.
Anyway, it's been a lot of back and forth, but it doesn't look good for Lindsay...could mean jail. So this issue, on top of the Dawn Holland assault issue could mean very bad things.
This girl is such a disaster. She needs to move to a city without paparazzi and live quietly.
