Oscars - Initial Red Carpet Post!

Ok, here is the first go!

Berenice Bejo:
This dress is gross. It's too dull. I love the shape and the idea, but the mint is so muted and so blah. It looks a bit dirty.

Her earring and accent were amazing though. And her date was not not handsome.

Ellie Kemper:
I'm kind of in love with this dress. It is bronze, which I'm obsessed with lately, it's ombre, which I'm also obsessed with lately, and it has a little pattern in there. It's great.

She looks very pretty, though I won't lie. I hate her bangs.

The earrings are amazing though.

Giuliana Rancic:
I can like this because I didn't have to see her terrible interviews or hear her shrill voice.

The dress is great though. It's very lovely and even though I wish her hair was loose and wavy, she is very pretty.

Jessica Chastain:
McQueen. Sigh.

At first I wasn't in love with this, but the more I saw it the more I loved it. Her hair with the golden embroidery is amazing. Very beautiful.

Judy Greer:
Beauty Writer and I disagreed on this one. I love it. LOVE it. I am really into how sleek it is and how subtle. She thinks it looks like those fluo bathing suits we all had in 1991. Ok, fair point. But mine wasn't sparkly, so I like this.

I love it. Her hair does kind of look like mine in 1991 though.

Kelly Osbourne:
You guys, I'm SO angry. SO MAD. Because this dress is STUNNING. It's gorge. And then her hair is there and her terrible lipstick.

Oh my god the rage.

Lea Thompson:
A few weeks ago I rewatched all the 'Back to the Future' movies. Soooooo, I love this.

Hee hee.
 Leslie Mann & Judd Apatow:
This dress was Cavalli and didn't translate well on screen but looks very rich and lovely here. Her earrings were SPECTACULAR. They were amazing.

I wish she didn't purse her lips all the time, she always looks so cranky.
Maria Menounos:
See, this is how you do mint. It's nice and dusty colored but it's also clearly green. Plus, look how cute her facial expression is.

I like this. Very lovely.

 Melissa McCarthy:
We liked this, except for the sleeves. Those fluttery things were getting in the way way too much. They were fluttering around and being annoying. But she looks great.
Michelle Williams:
Ohhhh, this looks much better in photo than it did on TV. It looked like curtains on TV. Like, a lot. But Tim Gun pointed out that it was more of a coral than a tomato red and it makes me like it more. I want to see what's going on in the back though, because there's this stripe of flesh down the side seams and I haven't seen anything  of her back.

Pink croc purse? Amazing.

Mila Jovovich:
Could be my fave of the night, if not in the top 3. I love it.

She looks vaguely psychotic in the above photo, but this looked amazing on the red carpet.
Missy Pyle:
OMG, in person, this must be disgusting. It's SO bright in this photo and looked even brighter on screen...I also really dislike what it's doing on her boobs.

Why is she there, btw? What is going on??

Nick Nolte:
Best interview ever. He couldn't hear anything and was cranky.

Rooney Mara:
This demonstrates the worst, most ill fitting part of the dress. The back was kind of spectacular, but in general I cannot wrap my mind around why anyone would make these weird breast spoilers...

Rose Byrne:
SO thin. OMG.
But glam, and fab and I feel like those are amazing shoes peeking out there. I want to see them. She was there early. Inside early. Probably bombed now. Hee hee.

Shailene Woodley:
Or as we called her 'Marzipan.'

I get it. I really do. It's workmanship, etc, but it's annoying and it's white and It's really flat and boring. Not to mention, I'm pretty sure I can see her underwear. No?

Stacey Kiebler & George Clooney:
Ugh. I don't care that it's Marchesa, it's gross. It's tacky.

She looks like she's trying to dress as Oscar. Beauty Writer loved her hair, I find it a little half assed, but it's growing on me.

Viola Davis:
Everyone was getting all excited about her hair. Um. Why are we praising her for taking of her weave? Her roots look fried and tired. I get that it's cute and daring, but really, isn't this the night to keep the weave on?

The dress color is amazing and he looks great. Vera Wang does nice things in color. People should remember that.
