A lot of people are taking this news as almost a victory, because people have been predicting this for a while...and in all fairness to Ben and Jennifer - they denied it up until very recently...but finally have confirmed that they are getting a divorce.

This will be our only comment on this private, family matter. Thank you for understanding."
They have 3 kids, so this is tough for everyone.
Rumours started swirling a few months ago when Ben was seen in Vancouver without his wedding ring on Jennifer's birthday. The couple responded by being caught out by paparazzi, which had been one of their standard moves over the years whenever people questioned their solidity as a couple.
The most recent denial was a few weeks ago when moving trucks showed up at their house and they denied anything was wrong, just said they were renovating and were storing furniture. Uh huh.
Well, this is sad for them. But Batman is supposed to be single...
