I did NOT live through the 70's but have forever considered it to be the chicest, most fabulous era ever. Therefore, I will wear it to death now that it's coming back.
Lindsay Lohan was not alive in the early 90's when a lot of the original high waisted disasters were happening. She doesn't remember how it morphed into much worse things.
Ever since leggings came back I've been gritting my teeth in fear that it will become what it was only a few years ago...soon only lazy people will be wearing them and they'll wear them with oversize, puff painted t-shirts.
I don't understand, yet again, how people wear trends that are this unflattering. Sure, sometimes things are misunderstood (maxi skirts, skinny jeans, etc), but sometimes things are just plain ugly. As in the proportions in the above outfit.
Like, ew.
