Sad news in the beauty and fashion world today. Vidal Sassoon passed away at the age of 84. He was not just a name on a shampoo bottle. He invented the "bob" and the "wedge". He is the reason we don't sleep in rollers anymore. He also created the original "pixie" cut Mia Farrow had in Rosemary's Baby. This guy killed the beehive with one flick of his shears. He opened schools around that world that stylist still attend today. He is the reason you tell your hairdresser, "I have no style. Give me more movement and texture".
