Britgate 2: Update city

Since we last spoke (I am picturing myself in a leather club chair right now, à la Masterpiece Theater) many things have happened, I am quite sure you've read them elsewhere, so I'm going to update you in point for in the interest of saving y'all some time (that one was for Brit):

• Britney's father, Jamie, has obtained control over her finances, properties and medical decisions (not sure about the medical part) along with an unbiased lawyer dude
• Britney's parents have obtained a restraining order against Sam Lufti for the next couple of weeks...details of this restraining order came out earlier today, check out some of things Lynne alleges:
• "Mr. Lutfi has essentially moved into Britney's home and has purported to take control of her life, home and finances."
• "He has cut Britney's home phone line and removed her cell phone chargers. He yells at her. He claims to control everything - Britney's business manager, her attorneys, and the security guards at the gate."
• He called Britney an "an unfit mother," "a piece of trash" and a "wh*re."
• Sam "disabled all of Britney's cars" other than the one he gave paparazzo Filipe to get her out of the house.
• Lynne on Sam: "Sam bragged to me that he is the one who receives Britney's checks." She says Sam claimed that if he didn't give Brit her medicine, "she would kill herself. Then he said to me, 'If you try to get rid of me, she'll be dead and I'll piss on her grave.'"
• Sam allegedly said: "I sleep in cars outside her house so she can't leave" To her parents: "You people throw everyone under the bus. If you don’t listen to me, I’m going to make your name s*** in the papers."

• Britney had best get settled because she is going to be in there for another 2 weeks, minimum. This decision was made in part because of her behavior since arriving and also upon her psychiatrist's request
• She is apparently in a very secure room which is possible padded
• Lynne Spears turned away Adnan Ghalib earlier today and told him he was not welcome to come and visit Britney although she apparently credits him for warning her about Sam Lufti
• Britney has once again been denied any visitation rights and the 'ban' has been extended another month
  

That's the condensed version of the past week's occurences. Although I'm pretty sure Brit is not as crazy as she was acting, it's nice to know that she's getting help and will hopefully come out of this without scarring her children too much.

For the moment, I'm posting a photo of Lynne, cause I'm kind of feeling like she's coming out as a badass in all this, especially with/against Sam Lufti.

In all this, though, I wonder where KFed is, aside from partying his ass off at the Superbowl...
