I may not have mentioned this to you before, but I LOVE the Hunger Games book series. Yes, I'm aware it's meant for teens, but I loved it. It was fast, engaging and pretty original. Yes, there were parts when the story lagged and you wanted to stab some of the characters, but come on, when doesn't that happen?
Anyway, the casting of the movie (based on the first book) has been big news over the past couple of months. Jennifer Lawrence (Winter's Bone) has been cast as the main character, Katniss Everdeen.
This week they released the first photo of Jennifer as Katniss. I f%&$ing LOVE it. I wasn't in love with the idea of casting her at first, but she looks good.
I'm so excited!!!
